A video of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte in his rally was posted on youtube with his rape remark. This must have been the biggest crisis Duterte and his team would face.After the said video was uploaded the Mayor granted and interview. He wanted to say sorry to those people who was offended by his "gutter language" and he was also sorry about the bloody outcome of the hostage taking incident.
Mayor Duterte refuses to apologize for the remark because it was part of his narration of the 1989 series of events. He had already uttered the remark and he just wanted an accurate
retelling.
